Dr. Kalena M. Yost, DACM, Dipl. O.M., NCCAOM, L.Ac. is an expert acupuncturist, herbalist and advanced nutritionist specializing in the treatment of pain, women’s health, weight loss and aesthetics.

She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018 with a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

At the age of fifteen, she lost her mother to choriocarcinoma, a very rare form of cancer at the time in which only one out of every fifty thousand women are diagnosed. When her mother’s ultimate untimely demise was a fibrosis formed on her lung tissue from the treatment administered causing her to suffocate the very way that was most fearful for her. This prompted Dr. Yost to begin studying cancer prevention which would ultimately lead her into this field in order to help her patients seek alternative options for their health care journeys to achieve better outcomes.

It is at this time she also sought out alternative medicine and advanced nutrition to help her in overcoming her own weight loss challenges.

It is her desire to come alongside her patients who have no where to turn who have experienced similar challenges and to give them a beacon of hope to overcome their own health challenges where they have not been able to get many answers.
